Man sentenced for role in child porn ring

The U.S. Department of Justice reports that James Freeman was sentenced Tuesday. He was found guilty following a six-day trial in January of six counts related to his role in a child porn ring. Five other U.S. men convicted in the case were given life sentences last month.
Prosecutors say the men were members of a sophisticated international network that spread child sex abuse images to its members during a two-year period. Records show the group traded more than 400,000 images and 1,000 videos of child sexual abuse before it was dismantled by law enforcement.
I'm glad he got life but it is sad that he thought he could get away with such a horrendous crime of abusing children.
